The Armies of Bone march

The churning politics of the Bone March are driven by the military successes and failures of the various powers who rule the land, and now the Death Moon euroz are the most powerful. Still, the Vile Rune euroz and the alliance of eigers and kell under the leadership of eiger magi are not to be trifled with, and are only one battle away from once more being on top.

It should be noted that it’s something of a misnomer to think of these powers as being homogenous groups. Each has various subject and allied tribes of humanoids under their control that are of different race.

Too, bear in mind that not all of the humanoid tribes and clans in the Bone March are under the control of one of the three main factions. There are several smaller ones, and many more small independent humanoid tribes. An accurate census of all of them is impractical at best.

The forces at the disposal of the Death Moon euroz are as follows; approximately one-quarter of the euroz troops are actual members of the

Death Moon tribe:

• Euroz heavy infantry

• 500 with sword & flail

• 500 with sword & battleaxe

• Euroz medium infantry

• 1,000 with sword & spear

• 1,000 with axe & spear

• 1,000 with axe & crossbow

• Euroz light infantry

• 2,000 with spear

• Celbit light infantry

• 600 with spiked club

• 400 with axe

• 200 with javelins

• 150 eiger light infantry with spear (mercenaries)

The Battle of the Loftwood in CY 578 proved disastrous for the Vile Rune euroz, who lost a thousand of their own troops and 50-75% of those belonging to their humanoid allies. The following forces remain under the command of the

Vile Runes

, as of the fall and winter:

• Euroz heavy infantry

Finally, the

eiger magi

command the following troops:

Humanoid miniatures in various scales and with differing assortments of weapons and armor are relatively easy to find. Some manufacturers also cast pig-faced orcs in either 28mm or 15mm scale. For those gamers wishing to embrace a truly old-school battlefield, these are recommended.
