The Mintworkers ' Guild

This is a furtive, secretive guild whose members largely keep to themselves. Membership is normally hereditary, and under no circumstances will the guild accept dwarves. This practice somewhat irks Glodreddi Bakkanin, the Inspector of Taxes, though he can understand the wisdom of this restriction-having personal experience of the dwarven racial lust for precious metals.

The Mintworkers are based at the City Mint in Clerkburg. This sturdy, windowless building houses the furnaces and molds used in the manufacture of the Free City's coinage. The building is kept under constant guard by a detachment of the Greyhawk military. New coinage is transferred from here to the city coffers under heavy armed guard prior to its distribution around the city.
