Sablewood

Sablewood is a coniferous tree found in northern regions, such as the realms of the Northmen and the Fellreev Forest. The trees are short, with trunks thicker than would be expected for their height. The branches make superb arrowshafts; the wood, if treated with oil, is a lustrous black.
