City State of Liesech

Located in the gulf of Bite Bay, the city of Liesech is in crisis. Being eaten alive by a mysterious disease known as the Weeping Pox, it has been resistant to both The Burach Empire and The Charneault Kingdom best efforts to contain the malady, spreading it to other lands. What was once a small fishing village, the founding Bouwengracht Family made a deal with a creature known only as the Filth Grazer, growing Liesech to a powerful trading hub.
The Burach Empire saw this success, and wanted to bring Liesech into the fold. They conscripted a captured vampire Countess Analita Von Raiza to enter Liesech and use her powers to bend the Family to her will. Seeing her chance for power, she slaughtered the family during a Nurturing Sea celebration which was called the Red Morning. The Filth Grazer, intent upon revenge, infected the dead with the Weeping Pox. Analita rowed out into the bay to do battle with the creature, causing terrible storms and wrecking the ports. She returned alive, but greviously wounded.
