Nov Ostoya
Nov Ostoya is a walled city, known for its tall spires, stained glass windows, pointed arches, and stone gargoyles. The tallest structure, Blackharbour, is the fortres stronghold of Grand Duke Drago Koshevek. The Karstein Market serves as as a central hub for goods and services, but one will be hard-pressed to find weapons and armor of qulity-most of these have been co-opted by the nobles for their own armies. Other places of note are the docks, where a local unit of the Ebon Syndicate operates, and a small temple devoted to Solyma, Arch Seraph of Justice.
The civilians of Nov Ostoya work in grueling poverty. The best goods are confiscated for the private armies of The Crimson Court and the people are regularly made to give blood to them as well. The city guards are magically bound to the Crimson Court and any whiff of rebellion is swiftly crushed. The people do their best given their circumstances, taking joy in the few holidays they are given. The perpetual night has made the population very pale and the younger children have never seen the sun.
