Ogresh

A solitary species, Ogresh can be found across Etharis. They can be described as founts of information and advice givers, and many stories begin with a hero receiving a quest from an Ogresh. In truth, their scarcity is due to biology. In their youth, they mature slowly and are driven by wonderlust. They are driven to find a suitable area to settle with ample natural resources, a friendly local population, and a lack of other Ogresh nearby.
In their second stage of life, their apetite increases and they become sedentary. More than one Ogresh can eat all the food in a village, forcing them to spread out. Given their reliance on other species, they become masters of social interaction. They are born with an inherent ability to read body language and vocla cues, determining attitudes of others with ease. They then use their knowledge to glean information from others, using the subtlest of clues to reveal information one would keep hidden.
