The Company of Free Swords

An ancient and elite mercenary company, the Free Swords have tipped the scales of war for many a nation. They have the distinction of slaying a demon lord, and considers defeating dragons a slow day. They include all types in their ranks, as they have need for fighters to wizards, druids to bards.
Beginning as the army of a tyrant king, the Commander Darion Harkin declared he had enough. His entire unit deserted and formed the Company, and when the king tried to kill the commander, Harkin sent assassins to kill the king. Staying true to the soldiers, The Company maintain a their honor by keeping to the letter in their contracts, and taking vengeance against any that break it.
