Wechselkind

A Wechselkind is a construct made of wood, clay, and ceramic in the form of a small child. When a fey abducts a child, they leave a Wechselkind in their wake. These small dolls use fey glamour and magics to take on the appearance of a real child, however they are often cast out by the family when the lie is discovered.
A Wechselkind is often cast out and must fend for itself. Usually finding odd jobs or begging alogn the road, they have recently started to emerge in Etharis as doctor's assistants and nurses. As they are immune to the Weeping Pox, they are unique in their dispostion. They have started to gain some recognition and praise, they are wary as they may be cast out again once their services are at an end.
