Infinite
Infinite is a condition solely for Artifacts . It isn't an illness, nor is it inherently bad. It's only bad for those that wield Artifacts, as others tend to want said Artifacts for their power. The infinite condition mainly means that said Artifact can be used multiple times without wear and tear. One example would be drinking a potion Artifact, and the potion will never truly run out. Other examples include weapons never dulling, same for pickaxes. Infinite is essentially perfect immortality for Artifacts.

History
There isn't exactly a true nor clear history of the Infinite condition on Artifacts. Since most, if not all, Artifacts have this property, it is more-so a history on Artifacts themselves. But nobody knows where Artifacts come from, much less if they even exist since they're all in myths rather than actual, reliable history books.
Cultural Reception
Again, with only Artifacts having the Infinite condition, it is mostly about Artifacts. There are two groups of people who react to Artifacts, rather. Most dismiss it, as they tend to be common in myths and stories of old, and there normally isn't any true physical proof of it. However, those that are interested tend to try to hunt down said Artifacts and wield their power. If someone truly has an Artifact, however, with proof of it being an actual Artifact, others will definitely jump on it at any and all costs. It has also garnered so much attention that most sapient creatures have a specified job to look for and hunt down Artifacts.
