Claw Coverings

Common item with many variations. They are used partially to mark one as a pacifist or that they have agreed to not cause harm (kind of like peace tape), and partially to protect delicate items from talons or claws. The ones for protection are much more simple than those for peace purposes. The coverings have various styles-- some attatch only to the first segment of the finger, some to other segments of fingers, and others were elaborate jewelry that covered the entire hand and part of the wrists. They can be made of nearly any material-- anything from leather to bone to metal.
Sometimes metal and bone coverings have small leather patches on the fingers to aid in gripping things.
