Slaughter

Slaughter is an extra large orc warcleaver of a most brutal design. It is believed to be the actual weapon of Gruumsh One-Eyed, passed down to the orcs to represent his authority in the land of the mortals.
The weapon was lost for many years. Recently, a dwarf named Grangungi Karlson found it in Raskin's Vault in the Anauroch Plain. He was nearly taken over by the evil weapon but was able to convince it to work together with him by offering many opportunties for mayhem and destruction. The cleaver decided to go along and see how things turn out. Grangungi shortly after that gave Slaughter to Magnus of the Blood Tooth Tribe who he felt was honorable. Magnus continues to carry the weapon.

Significance

Slaughter is highly recognizable to orcs. It denotes one who should be leader of all, but many orcs respond to this by wanting to take it for themselves.
