Jackalines

History

The gnomes of Karonhis has harvested this mushroom for generations, going back beyond the arrival of elves on the continent. The secret of it's existence is guarded by the gnomes, and as such few people outside of Karonhis know of it's existence.

Significance

The Jackaline is the most intense naturally occuring hallucinogenic plant in all of Gundria. It's effects are know to make the consumer feel as if they are on an entirely different plane of existence. Additionally, someone under the influence of the mushroom experiences time differently to an intense extent. Seconds can feel like years on this mushroom. The mushrooms last for an indefinite time which ends only when the user achieves a state of elightenment.

Common only to the forests of Karonhis, the Jackaline mushroom is exceedingly rare. However, within it's forest of origin it is extremely common.
