Seagrow Caves has been experiencing a blight, caused by noxious fumes from below the surface failing to vent out of the cave system, due to a large fire crystal growing to block a fissure. The fumes have been causing disease in both the mushrooms and Myconid creatures that reside here.
The spore sovereign, Sinensa, placed an octopus guardian at the entrance to the cave, preventing anyone from entering.
