Gyllis Inspection Committee

The Gyllis Inspection Committee was formed in 378 PC when the first Octus Inspection Committee was sent to Gyllis. The committee was not formed officially until just before the Octus Inspection Committee was scheduled to return in 379 PC. The original formation of the committee was a group of people who each individually decided to follow the Octus Inspection Committee and make fun of them. This original action was spontaneous, but all of the following actions of the committee were planned.

When the committee was officially formed the idea of mimicking the Octus Inspection Committee was created. This led to each iteration of the committee following the Octus Inspection Committee with suits, sunglasses, and clipboards while rattling off increasingly wild comments. The Gyllis Inspection Committee has also been known to work with the Special Committee on Inspection Day. The Special Committee obnoxiously protects the Gyllis Inspection Committee for the sole purpose of mocking the Octus Inspection Committee for their own guards.

The Gyllis Inspection Committee does not meet regularly. They instead meet in the days before Inspection Day to plan and on the day itself to enact their plans. The infrequent meetings are caused by the time specific nature of the committee and the fact that the Committee Committee is not happy with their actions. So much so that the entire Gyllis Inspection Committee is sent to the Box at the end of Inspection Day. The Committee Committee has made attempts to stop them all together, but they were unsuccessful because of other Gyllis citizens spontaneously continuing the Gyllis Inspection Committee’s work.
