Jane Bear

Summary: Jane Beare is a member of Gyllis, and currently works as a barista at Aquatic Aromas, a local hotspot for drinks. Jane was born in the dome itself, as raised by her grandmother from a young age due to her father’s illness taking him from her at an early age, and with her mother out of the picture, that was the only family she had.

Early Life: As part of the “new generation” of those who were born directly in Gyllis, from a young age she has faced skepticism from some older members of the community. While nurtured by her grandmother, still the harsh reality and cruel tongue of the adult generation in the streets reached her ear. Those in Gyllis not sent there, but born there, often were looked down upon.

Family: Born within the watery confines of the Gyllis Dome, Jane's familial history comes with both love and tragedy. Her mother succumbed to illness while she was still at a young age, leaving Hane behind. Her father, too, departed prematurely after her mothers death, leaving behind the weight of his absence. Despite these hardships, Jane's family endured with the presence and care of her grandmother.

Signature Drink: Now working at Aquatic Aromas, she now finds expression in her signature drink, the "Coral Cascade." A blend of rich Gyllian coffee, subtly sweetened with extracts from the vibrant corals surrounding the dome, the Coral Cascade became a local favorite. Its unique flavor profile mirrored Jane's desire to blend new tradition with barista innovation, leaving a lasting imprint on the taste buds of those who frequented the coffee shop. This has lead her to be well liked in the Gyllis community.
