Khymera Center of Transing Your Gender

The Khymera Center of Transing Your Gender (Khymera Center for short) was commissioned by Mann V Khymera in 404 PC. The Khymera Center is run by the Trans Your Gender Committee within the Mad Science Committee. The committee provides gender affirming care out of the facility. They also sometimes receive help from other subcommittees within the Mad Science Committee (like the Drug Committee for HRT).

The Khymera Center is located on the border of the Mad Science Zone and Gyllis Town. It is close enough to the Committee Committee Building to throw stones, which is a favored activity of staff and patients alike. The building itself is a large repurposed building in the Nihilum style. It was remodeled in 534 PC to give it the appearance of a box with shark fins in honor of Shark God. The Khymera Center is also covered in an eclectic array of graffiti.

The Khymera Center is divided into three major wards: Consultations, Surgery, and Recovery. The three wards each take up an entire floor of the facility. Recovery is on the first floor and it is where patients recuperate after surgery before being released. Surgery is on the second floor. This is where all medical procedures happen. Consultations is on the third floor and it is where potential patients set up procedures. The Khymera Center is structured so that patients work their way down the facility. This is meant to symbolize the metamorphosis that takes place when a person returns to Shark God and assumes their true form.
