Murder Committee

The Murder Committee was established in 377 PC by R.F. Stabbings when Harold H Harolds was murdered by Bethany. R.F. Stabbings, a serial killer in their own right, argued that there was indeed honor amongst thieves and that Bethany should receive some form of punishment beyond the Box. The murder of Harold H Harolds was not Bethany’s first offense within Gyllis, so the Murder Committee was formed to permanently remove Bethany from Gyllis. The Murder Committee did not dissolve after dealing with Bethany on the grounds that one day there could be another like her.

The Murder Committee is made up of loosely reformed killers that want to continue killing, but do not want to share Bethany’s fate. These individuals are permitted to only kill those who commit serious crimes such as repeated excessive violence, murder, etc. This permission is given by the Committee Commitee and the Murder Committee itself. The Committee Committee cannot fully control the Murder Committee, so the Murder Committee will take justice into their own hands if the situation demands it.

The Murder Committee building is located in the heart of the Murder District (named because of the committee building). The building is in the Gyllis style and was built to resemble the decaying carcass of a whale fall. The building is used to house the tools of the Murder Committee and some members of the committee. It is also where the Murder Committee receives information about their targets and plans their attack.
