Sea Taters

Sea taters are an urchin-like underwater creature that when boiled becomes soft and malleable like a common potato. The outside is a hard shell with small spikes with the inside containing the edible meat. After boiling the meat is often mashed and shaped into small taters and deep fried in fish oil to create a crispy outer crust.
