Town Square

Loving Embrace is the town square of Gyllis. Named for the warmth, it is located right above the thermal vents just north of the airlock, many use it as a place to cook street food while others dry clothes or just come to relax. The square is centered around the vent covered by a square grate to allow the community to cook foods with heat from the sea. Because of this the community holds most of its food based events in the town square, cooking fresh food for attendants and keeping everyone cozy. A town square committee makes sure that the grate is regularly cleaned and kept food safe. Events take place here at least once a month, with many committees going for group excursions to them as a bonding experience.
