Raas Arak was born a part of a small Aarakocra monastery that was dedicated to the elven goddess Aerdrie Faenya and was hidden in a mountain range. From a young age Raas was always one of the gifted students but was never well behaved. He spent much of his time fighting the other children of the monastery or stealing food from the kitchens. Eventually, the elder of the monastery had enough and wanted to find a solution to Raas. Knowing that he had the potential to grow out of his rebellious tendencies he told him that he had to leave the monastery and travel on his own. Before he left however, the elder told him that his mission was to search for feathers that were dropped from Aerdrie Faenya herself. Excited and scared to be on his own Raas went from town to town and tavern to tavern looking for any hint he could find. There he found the mysterious note from Torbin and decided that if nothing else he could at least get paid well for his time.
