The Verdan are a relatively new spiecies. When counting generations, they are counted based on the closest generation. As an example, Demie, the Twin Ranger is considered a 2nd Generation Verdan because her Father is a 1st Generation Verdan, even though her mother is also a 2nd Generation Verdan.
