Astral Plane

The Astral Plane is one of the least studied and understood of the planes of existence. It is not a place of the dead, or of any known living species, and it is not a place the Lunar Pantheon can see into. Those who do visit it often mischaracterize it as empty: the astral plane is a great white-grey void, dull and endless, peppered with barren rocks and empty steel-grey seas. The geography and substance of the Astral Sea is confusing and dreamlike; what is water and what is air is often unclear - you can soar upwards for miles only to find yourself in a deep ocean that feels like normal air.
The Astral Plane is not well-mapped or well-known, but it isn't as empty as some people may think. Warlocks often drift there in their sleep and when communing with their patrons, and warlock candidates spiritually visit the Astral when they make their pact. Leviathans dream and think in the Astral, and Elder Leviathans have a part of themselves that is always there. Who knows what one might find, in the deep reaches of the astral plane?
