Kipilu of Tezitkal

Kipilu is The Hidden One reborn and an adventurer of growing renown. Kipilu is a Bard, a caster capable of channeling art and expression and lore into arcane spells - a caster that combines expression, skill, and academic lore. He has used his skills to venture far and confront great powers, but his adventures have only begun.
Kipilu was born alone, more a hive-mind spirit of cats born of forest fire than a person born of parents. When he manifested as a child, he was taken into custody by the Guardians of Hokzin along with another child, Dina. The two kids were inseparable from then on. As orphans taken by the Holy Orders, the kids were trained as enforcers of the Suneka - and ultimately chose the hard path of the Keepers of Olkum over the military. The intense monastic upbringing taught Kipilu lore, magic, and skills with firearms and infiltration. He was raised to hunt heretics, criminals, and corruption as an enforcer of religious orthodoxy. Ultimately, the structure and violence of his profession turned him and Dina away from the Order. 
Kipilu and Dina made a small found family of religious soldiers and state spies, the alt-kids who weren't necessarily zealously loyal to the state. But, when sent on a mission together to Tapatlan, the strain of the job proved too much. Kipilu witnessed the corruption of the system, and Dina was tempted into becoming the Martyr - an apocalyptic force counterpart to Kipilu. The two friends tried to make this work, but after long journeys together, they had to part ways. Now, Kipilu ventures with the Gods and seeks a new path. 
Kipilu can turn into a swarm of cats, or send cats from his body as spies or avatars.
