Dying Embers

This creature, a once bright celestial being, has dimmed to bear embers. The glass of its lantern face has cracked and ash pours from it. Its movements are sluggish, its voice ragged and muffled.

As Shira'tol has drifted farther from the cosmic source, its connection fraying by the moment, so too has its connection to celestial creatures such as archons. What few archons that have remained in this realm have been weakened and damaged. The source of their power has become nearly unreachable and they have been slowly dying.
They are still sources of pure good and law but in their weakened state, they are limited in what help they can offer.
