Thousands of years before the events of Ageless, humanity's homeworld was overpopulated and running critically low on resources. An engineer and astrophysicist named Savvos Falion proposed a plan for the construction of a massive man-made city-continent that also had the capability of space travel at low velocity, a feat that had never been attempted outside of their solar system. The city was built over the course of 50 years, with every country allocating its resources to the construction of the ship, later dubbed Falion after it's creator. During this time, astrologists and physicists alike began to search concertedly for a planet that could support human life, and eventually found one in a neighboring solar system, though the conditions were far from ideal. However, after the successful launch of Falion, and the sustainment of its passenger for nearly 100 years of space travel, the ship was thrown off-course by a sudden mysterious phenomenon referred to by most as "The Jump", in which Falion is transported, inexplicably and instantly, to an unfamiliar part of the universe. Planet NE (New Earth) is unable to be found on the ship's navigational system, and for months the remaining leaders of humanity try to work out an alternative plan, searching nonstop for a new home planet as they float aimlessly through the vacuum of space with a dwindling fuel supply. They arrive at Halmara accidentally, in the knick of time, without any prior knowledge of its existence. Upon closer examination, Halmara is revealed to not only possess the necessary ingredients for life, but exhibits life forms more advanced than those found on earth. The Leaders of humanity, with no where else to turn, unanimously agree to land.   Halmara is roughly 1 and 1/2 times the size of Earth, and more oval-shaped than other planets. It is covered by three major continents and several smaller islands. The largest of the continents is Avram, upon which Falion decided to land. The other two are Crozis and Obaniene, the latter being the smallest, and most inhospitable of the three. 70% of Halmara's surface is covered in water.
