Half-Races

Species on Halor intermingle often, which may lead to a couple of differing races forming. Depending on the races involved, there may or may not be the opportunity for offspring. As this process repeats, some innate characteristics of one's ancestors may dilute to the point of non-function. Should another generation repeat the process, the dominant racial heritage shall present itself. For example, a person with 50% Varathi, 25% Human, and 25% Elvespian blood would look mostly Varathi and a character of that makeup would use the Varath race stats. However, for a character of the first generation, the split will be more even and the appearance dependent on the sex of the parents. Work with the DM to select attributes of both parent's racial stats to build your character. The following is an overview of how all the races may reproduce with one and other.

Reproduction Table

The left column represents the male and the right represents the female. Soulforged are omitted as they are a created creature and cannot reproduce.

Half: Half means the races can produce and their offspring will represent a rougly even split of physical and magical characteristics. Certian half-races may have specific names, but they are not mentioned here for clarity.

'X': An 'X' means the pair cannot reproduce.

'*': An astricks indicates that the offspring is sterile.
