Mourning, and the act of grieving is sacred; and should be respected as a high form of worship to the God Taro.  

Holidays

The Festival of The Honored Dead. Finds Taro at it's center once a year at the end of winter. A day to remember those who you've lost. This is done by creating songs, poems, trinkets, and food. All of which are shared and enjoyed among the community in a great feast.

Followers of Taro

Followers of Taro are a unique collection of individuals with many reasons for their worship and devotion to Taro. The primary Church for the god is called The Arms of Taro Chuch.   A commonality among followers of Taro, is the intense respect of grief and the act of grieving of any kind. It is seen as the highest form of both respect for the one gone, but as a way to honor Taro for guiding them into a new life or purpose. Taro’s followers often will attend funerals out for respect to there god, and a form of worship. If a funeral is not expected to be well attended, it is not unusual so find many followers of Taro in attendance.
