Opani (Oh-pawn-e)
God of Gateways & Beginnings
Aspects: Rejuvenation, Discovery, Knowledge
Opani is often depicted as a rabbit, fawn, an etherial light, or sun rays. As the god of gateways and beginnings she is worshiped most by shepards, and newlyweds - or anyone at the beginning of or end of a significant journey. Opani is celebrated when a new baby is born, and a wreath is hung on the door of the house adorned with motifs of wildlife. This is often done to bless the baby with a good life, health and knowledge.
Opani is also regarded highly among scholars who worship in hopes of gaining a grace of knowledge and understanding. The thirst of their minds is considered the highest praise for their god.
There is no one official holiday or holy day to honor Opani.

Opani does have a following of holy warriors who she has blessed with divine power, The Holy Legionnairum. These Paladin Warriors are either of the two avenues offered from the Goddess, Either as her holy Scollars of the Holy Legionnarium, or her Holy Warriors. The Pursuit and protection of knowledge and the Persuit and defense of People are what the Holy Legionnairum are founded upon.
Those who are a part of the Holy Legionnarium strive to be unknown in that blessing, to operate in the unknown is to witness truth, and to see corruption otherwise hidden. For that reason the Legionnarium are a secretive sect, and often do not even know eachother as fellow Paladins to Opani.
