The Southern Wars

The Southern Wars began when The Chean Empire, led by Hoknath III, invaded The Grand Duchy of Rusles. Tensions have been high between the two nations ever since Rusle allied with Ashon in the Chean Rebellion. 
Tensions grew when the Chean Empire wanted to join the Broscona Concord and The Grand Duchy of Rusles attempted to block them from entering the alliance, even getting Pearland to support their efforts in excluding the new nation.
Pearland has denounced the Chean Empire and the Principality of Faybaria have begun supplying the invaders, though neither nation has officially joined the war.
The other members of the Broscona Concord, The Kingdom of Rakenia and Casinia, have both declared their disapproval of the war and remain neutral parties. King Malcian has gone as far as to declare two emergency meetings of the Broscona Concord but neither Emperor Hoknath III nor Grand Duchess Henrietta Claymoore have shown up to either, refusing to sit at the table so long as the other remains.
