Personal history
Beilar hails from the Forests in the North, just south of the Elven City of Nurindel, having lived in his nomadic Firbolg Clan of Helligbror (Holy Brother) even until well after coming of age. With a current Druid already represented leading the Clan, Beilar decided to reluctantly leave his family, his tribe, in order to join the Druid's Circle of the Holy Oak, founded by the Dryad Fennelore and her mate, Stamree.
The odd one out, the Elves of the Circle shared with him even further knowledge about the flora and fauna he held so dear, teaching him of the Heart of the Forest. Each forest had such a precious Gem, grown in the heart of the forest, hidden from foreign intrusion by dense growth. Its size indicative of the size of the forest.
Legends have regrettably spread among humans that whoever wears a Heart of the Forest received immortality, or sustenance, or riches. Various stories seem inconsistent, but the rumours themselves have already started to harm forests.
Gifted his Petrified Oak Leaf after passing his initial trials and filled with knowledge, Beilar was set off on a mission by the Druid's Dryad Leader Fennelore, in search of another such artifact, after troubling news had reached the Circle. Reports had come about the Hearts going missing, either destroyed or stolen was unclear, but it left the forest's flora and fauna in disarray and turmoil. Once vibrant colours of a forest faded in the absence of the gem.
Along the way, Beilar greets, communicates and aids wildlife in all shapes and beautiful forms, feeding birds and critters the seeds and berries he gathers along his travels.
In the extremely rare cases where he needs to visit a settlement, Beilar often blends in, hiding his true shape.
A recent rumour, passed to him by a family of elk, regards the existence of a Vampire descendant feeding off their family in order not to draw attention to the two-legged. Antlers point direction to a place called Needlefall. The vampire in question might know more of one such missing Heart of the Forest and while Beilar has heard little about the history happening far away from his homeland, the elves of Nurindel, members of the Circle, have informed him of the history of Asarith.

Arriving at Needlefall, a human and a Hill-Giant guard keep watch over the road, the first guides us to the Crushing River, where Tormen Strongriver is Barkeeper.
He speaks of the Druid Gilborg.
Takes us back to a private room, is informed about all of us.
Keeps an eye out on the Mansion, due to it being haunted. has seen Ghost himself.
Hilsforth Azerith <- vampire, defeated by Aram Lionheart + band of adventurers.
New information: divination wizard named Manaz Sanzar prophetised return of Hilsfurth.
5 relics needed to bring him back, 1 is hidden in the manion. Kept there cause it's well protected. The Stone of Topher.
Entering Mansion illegal, Guard is doubled. Secret entrance exists, but location known to Druid Gilborg
Castiel & Beilar go visit Gilborg, while Cade & Malichar go to Temple of Lethander
Gilborg needs help, in the river there are lizard-piranha's creatures, they come from a Cave from the north.
Action preferably carried out before the trip to the mansion.
Gilborg knows little about the heart of the forests gone missing.
// stolen relic from temple of lethander
given to a Hag, hag lives west of needlefall.
in exchange for holy water, return the relic.
After discussing these Quests in the private room of the Inn, we decided to journey to the Cave first, where Gilborg had seen these piranha-lizard abominations.
There, as we got closer to cross the river, we spotted a few of these monsters, which we dealt with.
Entering the Cave, more foul creatures assail us and I momentarily lose focus. Yet aided by my newfound friends, we press on and deal with this too.
Inside the Cave, we take a right, stumbling upon more beasts to conquer.
Fighting off more, we ended up coming across what seemed like the Mother of the Creatures, as it was Large!
Even this challenge proved simple for us, and we dispatched of this abomination with sure strikes.
Afterwards, we spotted a Gnome on the other side of a door, who opened the door for us once he was sure threat had disappeared.
Campingsite
After a long, arduous travel across the country and through beautiful forests, I've come across a small camping site.
In the shape of a deer, I've decided to scout the area and the arrival of several others who, as it turned out, were on their way to Needlefall also.
The present merchant was a Halfling, followed and guarded by 5 more similar looking halflings.
Under the guise as an Elf, I approached the camp and decided to join them, sharing berries.
Rodrick the halfling seems an inventor of sorts, who created the most delicious toasted bread with cheese.
Coincidentally, the other travelers were all looking for the same contact in Needlefall, Tormen Strongriver.
Sharing some of our stories, we eventually decide to go to sleep.
Setting up tent, the start of the night mostly goes uneventful, until one of the halfling guards is attacked by a Goblin.
Staying in my tent, I contribute fairly and the group manages to defeat the large scale of small goblins. In particular the half elf named Cade seems very powerful!
He also seems aware of my disguise, which I regretably had to drop during combat.
At the end, I managed to catch my rest, going back to sleep straight after. Though, at the end, I did decide to take last watch.
Favourite part of the day? A kind hedgehog came up to me, and I petted his belly. So kind.
Initial scribbling
Thus my journey to Needlefall begins...
With no notion of who to trust, it falls to me to seek out the Hearts of the Forests, as well as learn more about the rumours revolving around the Vampire's kin.
