The Cracked Cask
The Cracked Cask Inn is a welcoming and cozy two-story building, constructed from sturdy timber and adorned with a large, beautifully carved sign featuring an image of a tankard that appears to have a small crack running through it. The inn's exterior is framed by colorful flowers and vines, creating a picturesque facade that adds to the charm of the village. A welcoming porch with wooden benches offers a place for travelers to relax and enjoy the fresh forest air.
The interior of the Cracked Cask Inn is just as inviting as its exterior. The ground floor features a spacious common room with a roaring fireplace, wooden beams on the ceiling, and wooden tables and chairs. The walls are adorned with old maps, mounted animal trophies, and various tankards from visitors who have passed through. The atmosphere is warm, with the scent of hearty stew and freshly baked bread permeating the air.
Most nights there is live music being played in the Cracked Cask, and whenever there are travellers coming through town they host an open stage night.
The Cracked Cask Inn offers a total of six comfortable rooms for guests. Each room is well-appointed with cozy beds, warm blankets, and furnishings made from locally sourced wood. The rooms are simple but inviting, offering a peaceful night's rest after a day of exploration in the forest.
The Cracked Cask has 3 other employees, Elsa Stonebrook , Thorn Ironheart , and a strange newcommer.
The Cracked Cask works alongside the Caskbearer's Sanctuary to provide ale and food for festivities, and a portion of earnings go towards the temple as well for upkeep of the temple and of the town.
