Huan

The huan are a group of humans and elves that can be found in most places on the Akroasian continent, but primarily in the country of Lao-Hua. Not only the most populous, it is also likely the eldest cultural group in the world, with some theories claiming they share traditions with their genetic ancestors, the archai. If true, the huan are at least 40000 years old, far surpassing the 4-5000 years of Gardian history.

The amount of subcultures among the huan number too many to count. Most groups identify simply as huan regardless. It is possibly also the predecessor of most, if not all human and elven cultures if you go back far enough in time.

Most huan people share some physical traits. Their eyes are narrow and are usually tones of brown or green. Their hair is brown, green, black, white, or gray. They usually have fair or tan skin, which is known for being exceptionally smooth, especially among huan elves. Huan humans are generally shorter than humans found elsewhere.
