Koboar

A koboar is a type of boar covered in scales rather than fur. It is the result of selective breeding and forced magical mutations on regular boars by the dragonborn of Ashon. This process initially began over 3000 years ago for reasons unknown, but it is suspected to have started as an elaborate prank against draconic supremacists.

Today there are over 20 documented domesticated variants of koboar, and a whole lot more wild variants spread across Cadenar. While mostly kept as livestock for food and materials for armor, certain types of kobold keep them as mounts for hunting expeditions.
