Ruunoth

The Ruunoth are humanoid mammoths native to the island of Ruun Kholmen, physically similar in many ways to the Loxodon found throughout the multiverse. They are tribal and somewhat primitive, and rarely leave the island by their own will, making their existence to the world outside mostly unknown.

Description

Ruunoth tower above most humanoids, usually standing well over two and a half metres tall and often stretching for three and a half. The weight of an adult averages at about 250 kg. They have heads like that of woolly mammoths, complete with tusks and trunk. Their hulking bodies are covered in a thick, rough pelt in colored in a wide spectrum of browns and grays. Their feet are the flat-bottomed and oval-shaped.

Ruunoth usually dress (if dressed at all) in primitive clothing patched together with deer hides or goat skin, with bone details and ornaments. The less primitive tribes have started making clothing out of wool from giant goats. Those who do wear clothes usually only wear them on their lower body, as their thick wool already protects them from the elements.
