Lyahvi

The Lyahvi convocation is the magick of air, the insubstantial, the invisible, the ethereal, and the illusory. Lyahvi mages are manipulators of light and sound, often making use of reflection and refraction and auditory effects. Their magicks are faster than the eye and difficult to describe. Lyahvi mages are masters of all gasses and can summon Asiri and other ethereals to benefit them. The essence of the Lyahvi convocation is brightness, light, sterility, linearity, and unliving.

Lyahvi use magical foci formed of transparent or translucent materials and substances able to effect or bend light like mirrors, prisms, and lenses, and gems. Red or pink are the hues of choice for Lyahvi foci which cannot include any organic materials. Therefore cut, polished multifaceted, sparkling gems such as; rubies, garnets, rose quartz, pink topaz, tourmaline or rubellite are preferred materials.

The convocational opposite Lyavhi on the Pvaric wheel is Fyvria or earth. Lyahvi enchantments are difficult to lay upon organic materials or lifeforms.
