Character Creation by Players

LINK TO D&D Character Sheets     Number of Characters: It is perfectly reasonable to only have 1 character when you join the game, but you can have up to 3 characters at any given time. Xp Points are not shared between characters. You can switch characters, move items, and share gold between within Harrenshore. Although not necessary, it would be nice if there was a narrative reason behind those characters openly sharing resources with one another.
Hit Points: Level 1 character's hit points are determined by class. When you level up, please roll your hit dice until your result is greater than half of the die's maximum value. For Example: If your hit die is 1d8, you would continue to roll until your result is a 5, 6, 7, or 8 then use the result.
Attributes: Pick from the following arrays then assign the attributes as you desire.

Balanced: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8
Generalist: 14, 13, 13, 12, 11, 10
Specialist: 16, 16, 12, 11, 9, 8

Races: I've divided the races into recommend and additional options. The Recommended Races are all the races found in the Player's handbook and are the most common races encountered throughout the world. You can just use the player's handbook or CLICK HERE. Additional Races are smaller in population normally coming from very specific regions or circumstances in the Old World and are rarely encountered in Harrenshore. To review the Additional Races, CLICK HERE. You can review all the options under the Playable Races in World Index to the bottom left
Classes: All classes from official sources are welcomed. It is recommended to simply use the Classes in the Player's Handbook. There are some improvements found HERE; Especially for Rangers
Starting Level & Gold: New Characters start at level one with the starting equipment and gold outlined by their class.
Backgrounds: Any background from official sources are allowed.

Leveling Up: We will be using Xp for leveling rewarded by the DM after a mission. Leveling up can only be done within the safety of Harrenshore.

Backstory: You do not need to write an elaborate backstory unless you really want to, just use the following Fill - In using brief answers or a single phase. These questions are in addition to the flavor your Class and Background provide and any overlap is fine.
