Nehla
Nehla is the daughter of the late Thue-Ban. She has her father's broken and petrified body in her tent in Titan's Grave. She seeks to find a cure for the Madness that plagues the Straits and has tracked down its source to Sand Falls. She is an accomplished healer, having studied in one of Al Jafer's many trade districts.
Nehla often faces prejudices because of her race, and is often avoided by people. She is the opposite of the Yuan-Ti stereotype, since she was raised by kind and good people rather than the cold and distant Yuan-Ti.
Nehla is gentle and softspoken, but has some bottled up anger towards the death of her father. She was raised by a Rundyr named Nestor Sundvik, so she wasn't close with her biological father at all. She misses Thue-Ban nonetheless, and resents her father's killers for robbing her of the opportunity to reconnect with him. Thue-Ban sent money to Nestor anonymously throughout her childhood, and later cast Modify Memory on Nestor and his family to make them forget they ever raised his daughter.

Personal history
Nehla was acknowledged as a Master Healer amongst Trade Princes, being officiated by Trade Princess Yasmeen Siwa herself. She traveled the Straits looking for a way to find the cure, when she came in touch with the Children of Silvanos through Yesanith. She has become a prominent figure in unraveling the mystery of the Slumbering King, and believes that gaining this knowledge will help her revive her father.
