Feminine names

Masculine names are often related to either patriarchal animals, trees, rocks, or are taken from male ancestors. ex: Crevidae

Family names often come from the job a family does in the desert, i.e. Herdsmen, or comes from their ancestors who were exiled to the desert.

Beauty Ideals

For females: Clearly feminine faces. Smartly armored bodies. If a woman is young, she is attractive if fit. If a woman is middle aged, she is attractive if she has kids. Women with markings for fertility are considered the most beautiful regardless of age. ex: Large hips indicating the capability of carrying children.    For males: Clearly masculine faces. Smartly armored bodies. If a man is young, he is attractive if he is physically strong. If a man is middle aged, he is attractive if he has kids and all his limbs. Men with combat scars are considered the most beautiful, regardless of age.

Gender Ideals

Referes to the psychological, cultural, and social characteristics that distinguish the sexes   For females: Women are expected to protect themselves, their families, and their homes, as well as care for their children and any child whose mom and dad are gone.    For males: Men are expected to protect their families and their homes, and care for their wives and children. They are expected to tend to crops, hunt for meat, repair their homes, and defend the territory in which their families live.

Courtship Ideals

A man expresses respectful interest in a woman, often during celebrations. If a woman is interested, she is to express so clearly. If she is not interested, the man is to leave her be. If she is interested, the pair are expected to spend their time with one another until they either pledge themselves to one another, or agree to part. Courtship ends with a pledge to one another.

Relationship Ideals

Men and women are expected to treat each other as equal adults, understanding their differences, and are to work together to achieve their goals.
