Guildmaster Gildart Derkson (a.k.a. Abadar's Hound, The Gilded Blade)

Self Righteous, self important, stuck up, and ignorant of anything that stretches past his own dogma. Gildart Derkson may just be the poorest excuse of a leader I have ever seen. But even I must admit even that man can do two things. He gives one hell of a speech and my gods does he know his way around a sword.

Personal history

Gildarts grew up in the later half of the Age of Heroes. He was born to a Mother who refused to tell him who his father was but insisted he was destined to be a great hero. Gildarts took it upon himself to train in both the martial and spiritual path, and when the Age of Arcane begun, he declared himself a paladin under Abadar. He gathered a strong following and begun to recruit for the Boros guild.

Gildarts is famed for his quelling of a Drow invasion. He is said to have earned the personal hatred of Lolth herself that day.
