Structure

The Izzit guild is comprised of multiple research groups each representing a specific arcane inquiry. The leaders of these group form a council that picks the general path the Izzit guild might go as well as voting in a guild leader.

To further research in the arcane, alchemical, mechanical, empirical, mathematical, etc

History

The Izzit guild was founded by Drawmij who orginally wanted to create a section of the eight devoted to magical research. After the destruction of the Eight and Drawmijs death the Izzit guild took advantage of the situation and begun to grow in their own more crazed direction. Since then their has been a heated rivalry between the two. Most Izzit wizards have been certified by the council but several have gone so far as to reject their membership to the eight. The council rarely approves of the Izzits insane experiments and the Izzit rarely cares.
