Sundance Queen's reign over Uskevig
Queen Lakona II rose to the throne after her father, Nani IV, at the age of thirty-five. The last years before her rise to the throne had been filled with uncertainty over who would inherit the old king, queen Lakona II wanted to present a show of her power, and decided to be crowned on the Sunbring day, just before the festival. She proclaimed that ascending to the crown on such an important date would bring prosperity to her reign. She became known to the common folk as the Sundance Queen, as on Sunbring day she would dance an intricate dance, and it was said that her dance alone could bring the sun to the sky. She was well-loved and was a good ruler to her people.
