Tangled

Overview

A Tangled is less of a specific mutation on its own as the inevitable end-result of what happens to a Touched when they cease to move for a prolonged periode of time. No matter if it is due to a wound or due to natural incliniation when met with their fate, once the Afflicted becomes immobile it's skin begins to grow and cover the surrounding area. Eventually the Tangled resemble a tree like structure with a cocoon or boil like structure attached to it.

Often the face of the Afflicted becomes visible again on this cocoon, as if some internal machanism was pushing it to the outside.

While the cocoon has the right size to contain a human body unfortunately it is filled with little else but blood, other bodily fluids and a random assortement of unmutated organs.
