Earthwarden; Taria's Hammer

Earthwarden is the tool Taria; Goddess of Creation used to build the planes of the world. The hammer has a long twisted bronze shaft, with a padded grip. The head is a massive block of silver coated steal, with an embroiderd golden star.

As told in the many tales of the Gods, Earthwarden was forged by High Dwarven smiths, who Taria's father hired. The hammer was given to Taria as a gift, for her father wanted her to become a creator of life. A wish which she fulfilled, until her sister stolen her hammer in the Scattering of the Earthwarden.

"Take this gift, my child. This hammer is both a tool of creation and a weapon of destruction. Use this wisely, for great power comes great responsibility."

The hammer is a symbol of building & breaking. In the tales and scriptures,Taria used her hammer to build the planes of the world, one of which is Atharia. It is also said she used the hammer to protect her children (the people of the planes) from the dark, evil forces. This was until Sapa; the goddess of death and Taria's sister, stole the hammer to create the Dark Planes. Sapa also used the hammer to change and corrupt the planes which Taria made. All of which is told in the Scattering of the Earthwarden. Now the hammer is in pieces are have been scattered across the planes. Many Heffling have sought out to find the pieces, in attempts to restore the hammer for whatever reason or purpose.
