rinciple of Conquest is a streaming fantasy series. It is one of the most popular and longest running shows on the planet. It first aired in 2048 and is currently in its 23rd season.
Narrative Quagmire
The show is known for having an expansive and frequently revolving cast of characters. Although it takes place in a purely-fantasy setting, many of its storylines are more equivalent to soap operas - with a hearty dose of magic and monsters tossed in for good measure. It's also infamous for a seemingly endless series of retcons and loopholes. These putative shortcomings often arise from the show's penchant for crafting circuitous storylines that make it difficult for even their own writers to keep track of the many conflicting developments.
Conquestidors
It has a rabid fanbase, even attracting many viewers who otherwise eschew the fantasy genre. Fans are commonly known as Conquestidors - although those who don't appreciate its charms often refer to those same fans simply as... dorks. Whenever new episodes are released, it's common to find people in office buildings and workplaces across the world discussing (and... arguing) about the latest plot twists.
Confusion
The show's name sometimes causes confusion because it's frequently abbreviated as PoC. In fact, sometimes people speak it's name as "pee-oh-cee" or even write it in documents as "PoC". This leads some to wonder if the topic of discussion is "People of Color", "Proof of Concept", "Point of Contact", or "Principle of Conquest". There are actually a few famous comedy skits predicated on this exact source of confusion.
