Wstaar'si (Wiss-Tar-See)
Wstaar'si (Imperial Wythian: Civilised Men) is the most common name used to describe the conglomeration of various cultures and ethnic groups that populate the lush highlands of Mrembura. Due to the presence of vast monolithic ruins scattered throughout the region (far beyond the architectural capabilities of the Wstaar'si or their Lagonic neighbors) it is often proposed that the ancestors of the Wstaar'si migrated to Mrembura from parts unknown, supplanting the indigenous Mremburans following whatever cataclysm resulted in their disappearance. The Wstaar'si are notable for their fierce loyalty to the Lagonan Empire; the Mremburan Confederacy was the first polity to voluntarily join the Empire.
