Amun'Hn

Amun’Hn (‘Home of Amun’) The biggest port city in Heka where the Niht river flows out to sea. A major city for trade, business, and commerce. Has a huge population and a variation of different areas- The closer to the sea and river, the richer things tend to be.   Amun’s Grace: A massive square/fountain built in worship of the god amun. In the middle of a small park sits a huge basin of water, surrounded on the edges by 8 criosphinx. In the middle stands a statue of the god amun, a human man with two plumes on top of his head. Different chimes and banners have been attached to him, and they seem to perpetually be blowing in an unending, gentle wind. People come here to worship, but also on dates and other various outings since it’s just a nice park. Many believe that the fates of many adventurers begin at this point- perhaps because of Amun’s guidance.   The King’s Respite: A nice homey inn near Amun’s Grace. An old stone building, well loved and patched up often. Two stories, often frequented by Ami. First story is a bar and lounge where the sailors from the western and eastern ports gather and chat and swap stories, second story is rooms. They’re comfortable and accommodating. Owned and ran by a THICK elven lady who is very mom energy, named Ginny.   The Eastern Docks: The main docks of Heka, sees trade from all of the other continents. Crazy busy all the time, smells of the sea and fish and sand. Full of ships constantly coming and going.   The Western Docks: Hundreds of small buildings and docks that follow the banks of the Niht river. Most export into and out of Heka comes through here or through the surrounding deserts. A small hut that Seshat leads them to has a small doorway in it. This leads to a set of stairs that hug the edge of a cliff and brings them down to a small outcrop with a dock and a boat on it. Specifically made for the Hekan Guard.
