Picacho
Originally a station on the Butterfield Stage route, Picacho manages to hold on as a crossroads connecting Tucson, Florence, Fort Grant, and Gila Bend. Most of the residents are involved in the transport trade: growing fodder; taking care of horses wagons, and transferring cargo between the various frieght lines that pass through the town. There is a hotel with a dozen rooms that are frequently occupied by passengers waiting for a stage or wagon
