Hell's Furnace is only sparsely speckled with towns and cities. Those that are present are small. Tucson is the largest urban center and it barely tops five thousands souls in residence. Most are little more than a few adobe buildings surrounding a plaza, if dating back to the Spanish era, or some wooden buildings lining a street, if more recent.
