Pirigua
Pirigua was settled after the Civil War in the hopes of establishing a ranch region, neither the town nor the ranching has been particularly successful. Its population fluctuates more than usual for an agricultural community, as wet or dry years either draw in new settlers or drive out those who have given up hope. The town's only businesses are the general store, which is little more than a place to order and receive items out of Yuma, and the blacksmith, Angus Taylor, who would be making a much better living in any of the bigger towns.
