The sprawling capital of the Kingdom of Glernor takes its name from its founding, whenever the soil was proclaimed to be the darkest and richest they had ever seen. 
This agricultural theme holds true even to this day, as Glernor serves as both the breadbasket of the Azure Federation and the unofficial leader of the alliance with Blacktill serving as the unofficial capital of the Federation.
